Wreckage from a two-eared vessel excavated at the ruins of a settlement dating to the Warring States Period (475-221 BC) in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province. The wreck has Chinese characters indicating countryside, making it the earliest such item in Sichuan province to record a place name at the countryside administrative level.
