On Feb 12, a photo exhibition, "The Chinese Story", opened at the Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library and Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library at the University of Toronto.
The exhibition, co-organized by the Consulate General of China in Toronto and the University of Toronto, was part of the 2018 Happy Chinese New Year celebrations in the city.
The 40 exhibited photos highlighted the great achievements made by China in environmental protection, cultural inheritance, technological innovation, international exchanges and other important fields. The exhibition drew a large crowd of viewers.
As a world-renowned higher education institute, the University of Toronto boasts the third-largest academic library system in North America, following those at Harvard and Yale. This exhibition was held at the Robarts Library, the largest of the university's 44 libraries.
The exhibition ended Thursday.
