On her canvas, veins on leaves are clearly featured in green, brown and yellow. Some sparkle with fresh greenness of strong vigor, while others, in iron grey, show a quiet and cool side of life. Some leaves, partly withered, trace the cycle of life.

This is Stojkovic's understanding of the happiness of life, which is taken as the name of her fourth exhibition in China, La Joie de Vivre, being held at the Shang 8 Art Gallery in Beijing from June 10 to July 9.

Stojkovic believes that leaves, as the eternal existence and regeneration of nature, symbolize the strength of nature and life.

And painting nature's strength gives the painter more vigor.
