The orchestra also held a special performance at the Golden Hall of the City Council in Buenos Aires on May 30. It was held on the same day as the Chinese traditional festival – Dragon Boat Festival. Young artists, who were in festive costumes, added an atmosphere of Chinese festival with their exquisite performance of gongs and drums which were used for the opening of the Peking Opera show, pipa duet Ambush From Ten Sides, and jinghu and band ensemble Night Thoughts, along with the instrumental ensemble The Monkey King.

After the concert, the first deputy speaker of the city council in Buenos Aires Carmen Bolero issued certificates of honor to the delegation, and the delegation donated a drum and percussion instruments to a bilingual School in Buenos Aires.
