Since 2010, the city has held seven Liu Sanjie festivals, which has become an important platform to promote Liu Sanjie culture and local tourism.

Scenic sports include Liuhezhai, well-known as the hometown of Liu Sanjie, where visitors can experience folk singing and dancing, and Zhuanggulao, a place where local people put on traditional performances for guests.

Many local people have benefited from the thriving tourism. "More than half of the town's poverty-stricken residents got jobs thanks to the industry, which has played an important role in pushing ahead our economy," Zhou said.
