Pakistan Cultural Center hosted several events on May 1 followed by a plaque ceremony highlighted by Chinese president Xi Jinping and Pakistan counterpart Mamnoon Hussain on Apr 20.

The cultural event was divided into four units: "Henan Art Troupe Show", "Photo Exhibition on Sino-Pakistan Friendship", "Creative Art Show on Chinese Artists in Pakistan" and "Visual Show on Watching China from Archaeology".

The Henan art troupe put on a comprehensive performance ranging from folk music, dance to martial arts and acrobatics. Martial art programs such as "Impression on Tai Chi", "Unique Skills of Shaolin Temple" and solo erhu performance called "New Racing Horces" were well received by the audience.

At the photo exhibition on Sino-Pakistan friendship, a review of over 60-year-old diplomatic relationships with more than 70 photos was presented to the visitors and guests.

At the creative art show, visitors had a chance to see calligraphy and paintings, essence of Chinese traditional culture, created by six Chinese artists in 2014 when they spent one year in Pakistan.

Also, visitors got a better understanding of Chinese relics and places of interest through a three-dimension art show.
