"Returning home for the holidays in 2019 — Guangxi Overseas Chinese School Zhuang village cultural camp" opened in Guangxi Overseas Chinese school.

Sponsored by the Chinese Language and Culture Education Foundation of China and organized by Guangxi Overseas Chinese school, the " Returning home for the holidays in 2019 — Guangxi Overseas Chinese School Zhuang village cultural camp" opened recently. Sixty overseas Chinese teenagers from Thailand would start a 12-day "cultural journey" in Guangxi.

The activities focus on Zhuang village national festival culture, allowing campers to not only experience characteristics of folk activities, participate in course learning, such as Chinese calligraphy, but also visit Nanning, Baise and other regions which are all full of cultural atmosphere.

The leader of the Chinese Language and Culture Education office said that the courses and activities arranged by the school would enhance the campers' cognition and recognition of the excellent Chinese culture and make it an unforgettable experience for all.

Chen Song, 68-year-oldheadmaster of Pattaya Mingman school in Thailand, is leading the team. He said as Guangxi and ASEAN exchanges become more frequent, immersing in Chinese culture in Guangxi has been becoming many Thai-Chinese teenagers’ dream. He said campers would cherish the opportunity and experience the local conditions and customs of China to enrich the understanding of Chinese culture and its charm.
