Shanghai Huangpu Spring Children’s choir won the international championship at the 5th Singapore international choral competition on July 22.

The four-day competition attracted 84 teams from around the globe. Judges of the competition were experts and artists from different parts of the world such as the United States, Venezuela, and Singapore.

Shanghai Spring Children’s choir was founded in 1996 with 300 members from different local schools, including primary, high schools and universities. Members participating in the competition were under 19 years of age.
