China and Vietnam focus on inclusiveness at China Culture Week

China Culture Week, an event designed to increase cultural exchanges between Chinese and Vietnamese students, was held at the University of Foreign Language Yangon on August 8. Cultural Counsellor Tian Shanting, YUFL leaders and over 300 students attended the event.

Tian said in his speech that students from both countries need to learn each other’s languages and culture to inclusively understand each other. He encouraged them to work together to move the bilateral friendship forward.

The event featured a series of programs, including dances, weaving, singing, calligraphy and painting. Dao Pabao, a representative of the Chinese students, shared his experience of living and studying in Vietnam, and explained programs designed to help students from both countries to improve language competency.
