The China Culture Center in Singapore hosted fifth-graders from Xi’an, China, who were taking part in a summer camp, on July 14.

The staff showed the students around the uniquely designed main building, which combines Chinese and Singaporean elements.

The library turned out to be a favorite among students, who took the opportunity to read books of their choice.

They were excited about the visit, and said that they were delighted to see the presence of Chinese culture overseas. A teachers said that a visit to the center allowed students to take in the beauty of ancient Chinese culture, and, more importantly, increase their confidence and pride in their culture.
