The event "Spending International Children's Day Where Madame Soong Ching-ling Lived" was held in the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, honorary chairperson of China, on May 31, 2016. Hu Qili, Chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), Ji Lin, Chairman of Beijing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, and Jing Dunquan, Vice Chairman of CSCLF, attended the event.

Before the event, Hu Qili, Chairman of CSCLF, meets Ji Lin, Chairman of Beijing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference at the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, and presents him a handwritten calligraphy by Dr. Sun Yat-sen.

Hu Qili, Chairman of CSCLF, Ji Lin, Chairman of Beijing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, other leaders and guests presented the certificate of honor to Little Time Gentlemen who won the top 10 award, gave them gifts for the International Children's Day, and set free pigeons that symbolized peace and hope with children.

They also planted trees that were removed from besides the Sun Yet-sen Memorial Hall in Zhongshan Park by the window of the small living room of Madame Soong Ching-ling, to commemorate the two great people.

Later, children sang songs and danced to express their happiness. They also participated in many colorful activities including the calligraphy and painting works exhibition of Little Time Gentlemen, children's handicrafts exhibition and riddle quiz. They had a unforgettable celebration of the International Children's Day in the place where Madame Soong Ching-ling once lived.

The event was held by CSCLF, undertaken by the Management Center of the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, Office of Little Time Gentlemen Plan, and Tangshan Hua Tian Group Co, Ltd, and supported by the Social Classroom Office of Beijing Middle and Primary School Students and Xicheng District Youth Art Museum. Ai Duo, Director of CSCLF Research Center and Management Center of the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, and Yan Guogang, President of Tangshan Hua Tian Group Co, Ltd, attended the event. Officials from the civilization office and educational department of Beijing and Xicheng District celebrated together with teachers and students from demonstration schools of Little Time Gentlemen.
