Chinese movie stars Jackie Chan and Zhan Ziyi attended Chinese Film Days in Bucharest, capital city of Romania, on Sept 11.
“Five Chinese movies on exhibition are to showcase Chinese film art and techniques. And we wish to strengthen bilateral cooperation in film and tell Romanians more about Chinese movies and the lives of Chinese people.” said Tong Gang, deputy director of China’s State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT).
“2014 marked the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Romania and China. Film is a bridge connecting both countries and strengthens our relationship”, said Alexandru Oprean, State Secretary of Romania’s Cultural Ministry.

Jackie Chan is a famous movie star to Romanians and his movie Chinese Zodiac was presented. During the show, he was interviewed by local media and after that he met with fans. The other four movies are Beijing Love Story, The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, The Grandmaster and Full Circle.
