Opening Ceremony

The Munich Oktoberfest will invite leaders from Beijing municipal government, German municipal government representatives, social celebrities and journalists to attend the opening ceremony. Leaders from both countries will open the first barrel of Germany HB beer to welcome the Munich Oktoberfest. Chinese and German bands perform at the ceremony.

Poster Design Competition

The competition is themed My Munich. Competitors should extend what Oktoberfest is like in their eyes by hand-drawing. Your works will be appraised by well-known professional designers. The top five winners will get prizes and their works will be used as promotional materials in the Oktoberfest tent.
