People enjoy Oktoberfest - Dalian tour in July 2014
“Voice of China” singer Jikejunyi will perform at the "Oktoberfest - Beijing tour " opening ceremony in Beijing on August 15, 2014.
The second session of "Oktoberfest - Beijing tour" will kick off in the central area of the Olympic Park August 15-30.
The first "Oktoberfest - Beijing trip" was held in 2013. It was the first time that the world's largest festival, Munich Oktoberfest, was held in Beijing. With unique form and exotic, authentic Bavarian style, it attracted tourists from home and abroad - 500,000 visitors in 17 days.
Organizers said the "Oktoberfest - Beijing Tour" will focus more on real Oktoberfest culture this year compared with the first session. It enhances the cultural identity between the two countries and jointly promotes the integration of ethnic cultures through beer culture.
According to reports, the current "Oktoberfest - Beijing Tour" will hold a traditional German opening ceremony on the night of Aug 15. At the same time, distinguished artists, include veteran rock star Zheng Jun, one of China's most famous rock bands, Black Panther (Hei Bao) and “Voice of China” singer Jikejunyi will perform at the opening ceremony.
Speaking of the sites, the organizing committee spokesman said that the Oktoberfest and Olympic Park will continue to cooperate. Beijing and Munich are both Olympic cities, which represent peace and friendship. Meanwhile, the organizers hope it can be an opportunity to deepen the friendship between China and Germany and build a longstanding communication platform through Munich's Oktoberfest beer festival.
