Tadeusz Chomicki pointed out that the event was a perfect combination of Chinese traditional art and culture and European ancient gardens, which vividly displayed the unique charm of Chinese culture and enhanced Polish people’s understanding of China.

The Chinese Road and many antique pavilions are ablaze with Chinese lanterns, with nearly 10,000 Warsaw citizens gathering there, enjoying the performances of Peking Opera and Chinese Folk Music brought by the Art Troupe of Heilongjiang province.

“The day of the event coincides with the Double Seventh Festival - the traditional Chinese Valentine's Day, I know,” a Warsaw citizen said, “the number seven also means fulfillment and good luck in Poland, maybe it just proved the Chinese word ‘yuanfen’ (destiny that ties people together).”

The Chinese Garden is beside the China Road of Lazienki Park, where the annual Chinese Lantern Cultural Festival is held. The festival is very popular among Warsaw residents and global tourists and has become a summer brand project at Lazienki Park.
