The contest of lion dance celebrates at Chinatown of Yangon. Every Year, the famous festival is celebrated. The lion dance is the combination of art history and martial arts in an extraordinary performance. It is believed that the loud noises from banging of the drums, firecrackers scare away evils spirits and the lion is regard as symbol of bravery and peace. It is hoped that by using the bravery of the lion, they could chase away the evil spirits.
