The men and women under the lions are often overshadowed by the incredible events celebrating Chinese New Year held worldwide, yet it is the skillful movements under the lion costume which make their appearance so tantalizing. These pictures show the hard and grueling practice that lasts for hours or even days. The photos were taken at the 2016, 11th Dragon and Lion Dance Contest in Yangon, Myanmar.
