Eco-minded designer Liang Zi began to use this kind of silk for making clothing with modern fashion design under the name TANGY, a brand highlighting the harmonious realm of "harmony between man and nature".
In recognition of its exquisite craftsmanship and precious cultural value, Gambiered Guangdong silk was included in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s list of national intangible cultural heritage in June 2008.
Due to its innovation and contribution to the environment, TANGY Collection was recently selected by 1.618 Paris, an agency committed to raising awareness of sustainable development, as one of 15 sustainable luxury brands. It was also invited to participate in the Premiere Classe exhibition held between Sept 27 and 30 in the Tuileries Gardens in Paris.
