Outlining his hopes for the series, Brahm says that he wants to address what he considers the "backward" western reporting on China: "The media coverage about China in the Western world is at least 10 years backward. And the situation needs to be changed.
"I want to introduce Asian values to the world through this series. That means to dissolve misunderstanding and build something new, a new way of seeing the world," he said.
