Chinese singer-songwriters, including Mu Xiaoya and Wang Weima, recently performed at a live show at Guangyin Sixteen, one of the most popular live house venues in Xi'an, in Shaanxi province.

Local bands from Xi'an also joined in the show, which was free to the public.

The show, which was the fifth edition of an event launched by NetEase Cloud Music, an online music streaming service under Chinese internet company NetEase Inc, also saw the young singer-songwriters share their stories about how they became professional musicians.

NetEase Cloud Music was launched in 2013 and now has more than 400 million online users.

The company initiated Yundou Live in May 2017, to promote young Chinese music talents.

So far, about 50,000 singer-songwriters are registered under NetEase Cloud Music's Yundou Live project.
