A female dancer performs a Ghatam dance at the opening performance of the Music and Dance Show of Thindu India in Xi'an, Sept 7. The ghatam was an Indian pot used in ancient times. Ghatam dance derives from the Indian Rajasthan women's posture when walking in the desert while carrying a ghatam on top of their heads. It is a folk dance combined with some acrobatics.
