Altogether 260 pieces are on display. The treasures are from the private collection of Liu Yiqian, the owner and founder of the Long Museum, as well as from other private collectors, both from China and abroad.
The exhibition aims to present a panoramic view of the artistic achievements of the period, as well as highlight the cultural exchanges between China and the West, said Xie Xiaodong, the curator of the exhibition.
In the past few years, art from the the Qing Dynasty has begun to attract increased attention as pieces from the period have become popular in the art market.
