A replica of an ancient piece of architecture, Qifeng Ge (Phoenix Rest Pavilion), has been destroyed by fire at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, Aug 19, 2015. Daming Palace was the center of politics, economics and culture during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and has experienced centuries of ups and downs.
