A Tyrannosaurus rex (one of the most powerful dinosaurs) made of waste newspapers is on display at the third Environmental Protection and Low-carbon Talent Show recently held by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform. The artist, Zhong Sixin, started to experiment with making dinosaurs out of waste newspapers since 2001.Through a series of techniques including pinching, winding, rolling and tearing, the artist can create a 4-meter-long and 1.5-meter-tall dinosaur, which can support itself without using a wire skeleton.
