On the same day, Liu visited University of Indonesia, and made e a lecture on the theme of deepen cultural exchange. She stressed that it is very important for China and Indonesia to keep on win-win strategy, deepen people-to-people exchange, strengthen educational cooperation and push forward a closer exchange of young people.

Liu said that China will add 100 government scholarships for Indonesian students, and donate teaching facilities which value 0.5 million yuan ($80,650) to the university. The headquarter of Confucius Institute will invite 100 Indonesian college students to take part in the summer camp in China.

Liu arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday at the invitation of Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani. During her six-day visit, Liu is also expected to attend the cultural and people-to-people events in Indonesia's cities of Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung and Bali .
