The Brigham Young University was founded in 1875 in Provo, Utah, by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Its faculty and staff comprise approximately 5,500. More than 120 countries and all 50 states are represented in BYU’s 30,000 full-time students. Nearly half have lived outside of the United States, and three-fourths are fluent in at least two languages. This variety of cultures and backgrounds, coupled with an institutional commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ, adds to an already rich academic experience.
Blending creative staging and vocal arrangements in an innovative framework, the Brigham Young University Singers present a captivating performance of vocal music. Their program ranging from classical numbers to international folk music and Broadway show tunes and enthralls audiences of every kind. Over the years, the group has built an international reputation. It has performed throughout the United States and in Russia, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Africa.
