Chinese cross-talk artist Jiang Kun, also a CPPCC member and the chairman of China Artists Association, commented on inheritance of traditional and folk art before the opening of the Third Session of the CPPCC National Committee.
"Many old artists pass away, and their art goes with them. This is such a pity," Jiang said. He suggested establishing more traditional and folk art courses at educational institutions to enrich the talent pool for traditional and folk artists in China.
