The “Digital Dunhuang” program utilizes advanced science and technology for cultural relic protection to carry out comprehensive digital collection, processing and storage of Dunhuang grottoes and related cultural relics. Data in various forms, such as images, videos and 3D layouts, will help make a diversified and intelligent grotto relics digital repository. It will be shared via internet, and digital asset management and digital science security systems will also be established.
