The Chinese Singaporean Youth Art Exchange Program was held in Singapore on August 7.

The program was hosted by the Health and Sports Development Center of China Care for the Next Generation Work Committee; the China-Singapore Cultural Exchange Center; and the board of education Chinese Film Arts Industry Alliance.

Xiao Jianghua, director of the Singapore Chinese Cultural Center and Chairman of the Singapore Texa College, as well as Cheng Hantong, former Singapore Congressman attended the event as honoured guests.

Teenagers from China performed an excellent variety of Chinese martial arts, Chinese Zither, opera songs, Chinese dance and other wonderful art forms at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Center, highlighting Chinese traditional culture.

The students of Holy Innocents’ Primary School of Singapore also delivered wonderful performances that not only reflected their own traditional culture, but also an appreciation for Chinese art including Chinese Zither ensembles.

The highly successful event and perfomances of extraordinary talent were praised by the leaders and guests.
