China U15 team will play against Malaysia’s in Haikou International Youth Football Match

On July 18, "2019 CFA China team Haikou International Youth Football Championship" kicked off in Haikou. China U15 team, North Korea U15 national team, Malaysia's and Iran's will play against each other.

Haikou has been actively promoting the popularization and development of soccer in recent years, especially the development of youth soccer, said Liu Tao, the president of Haikou Football Association, at a press conference on July 17. Haikou is one of the first 46 campus soccer cities in China, with more than 40 school teams participating in the inter-school league every year. Haikou has held the national finals of I love football for three years, and 2018 International Football Invitational Tournament between China and Palestine has all come to a successful end. Haikou is one of the best places for Chinese teams to train in winter. He hopes that by holding more high-level and high-quality matches, China will let the world know the development of soccer in Haikou and the conditions of sports competition in Haikou, so as to attract more high-level competitions in Haikou.

Liu Tao said Haikou Wu Yuan River Stadium is for the first time holding the competition of national youth, which will contribute to the development of soccer industry in Haikou city, the popularity of soccer in Haikou, to meet people's growing sports demand, showing good images of Haikou and making contribution to the cultural exchanges of international sports.

The tournament was mainly organized by the Chinese Football Association and the Haikou Tourism, Culture, Radio, Film and Sports Bureau, and assisted by Hainan Football Association and Haikou Football Association.
