The China-ASEAN Teenagers' Culture and Art Center opened on July 28 in Nanning, Guangxi. The center, which aims to build a cultural and artistic exchange platform for Chinese and ASEAN teenagers, is an innovative and exemplary project for the development of culture and art in Qingxiu district of Nanning city. The center will provide professional art training venues for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and training institutions, and will introduce art institutions from all over the world and authoritative accredited national institutions to enhance the cultivation of art teachers. It will deliver high-level artistic performances to society and hold high-quality international competitions to promote the exchange and development of fine art, and also drive the development of the youth culture and art industry.

As a cultural and artistic complex dedicated to young people, the center will enrich the lives of teenagers through various artistic events and performances as well as operational art groups.

Tang Xiaoruo, secretary of the Qingxiu district committee of Nanning city, said that the center, as a comprehensive platform integrating art education, event operation and business incubation, will build a greater platform for cultural and artistic exchanges for young people in China and ASEAN countries. In the future, the Qingxiu district will vigorously support the center to play a leading role and will strive to create a series of competitions and events, so that teenagers can take part in activities all year round and the art industry can gain further development. At the same time, Qingxiu district will rely on this platform to increase the cultivation of industrial development, and focus on improving the ability of independent innovation. That will build the district into a gathering place for education talent and the art industry, and also boost the area's economic potential, urban vitality and cultural attraction.
