The 'Chinese Bridge' Education Cooperation Summer Camp for ASEAN countries launched on July 22. Participating students experienced Chinese learning for one week in Guizhou province.

The summer camp aimed to enhance communication between teenagers from China and ASEAN countries, further promoting the opening up of Guizhou province and the understanding of Chinese culture across the world. 19 teenagers from 9 countries including Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines learned Chinese culture through first-hand experience.

Hosted by Guizhou Minzu University, professional teachers were chosen as team leaders and local students also took part as camp volunteers. It is hoped that through this project, students from ASEAN countries would gain greater knowledge about Chinese culture and deepen friendships with each other, helping to bridge China and the ASEAN region.

Students visited Guizhou Minzu University and Qingyan ancient town to directly experience local custom and traditions. Participating students also visited the National Big Data Comprehensive Test Zone Exhibition Center in Guizhou and Guizhou museum, to gain a broader understanding of China.
