As part of the 'One Belt, One Road' promotion, a cultural and artistic exchange between Thailand and China took place with a ceremonial launch in Bangkok on July 17.
Sponsored by Thailand-China Artist League, the event was hosted by Chinese Charm Campus website and Thai Happy Chinese school. Students from both countries delivered outstanding performances at Bangkok’s Siam Theatre, in celebration of the event.
General of the Thai army, Anan Boonlanpei, and Cai Wenpi, president of the Thailand-China Artists League, were invited to attend as honoured guests and deliver speeches. They also awarded certificates to 31 schools from China and Thailand which participated the ceremony.
The 'One Belt One Road•Thailand Impression' Cultural and Artistic Exchange Ceremony has been held for the past six years, becoming an important platform for Thai and Chinese young people to exchange culture and arts, strengthening communication and understanding between the two countries.
This year, more than 1,000 young people from all over China came to Bangkok to participate in cultural and sports programs and directly experience life with local primary and secondary school students. Activities were varied and vibrant, including playing traditional instruments, dancing and sports activities.
