Kites
Kites were invented by the Chinese over 2,000 years ago. Around the 12th century, Chinese kites spread to the West.
In the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, kites underwent great development in size, design, decoration and flying skills. Liberators at that time made kites by themselves, and sent the, to relatives and friends as gifts, regarding them as a literary pursuit.
