Shenzhen, located in the southern part of Guangdong Province and on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta, is a major city in the province. The area is China's first, not to mention one of its most successful, Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The city's modern cityscape is testament to its vibrant economy.
Shenzhen is the fifth most attractive city, thanks to its attractive salaries, promotion opportunities, personal rights protection and good service provided by government administration staff. However, its urban compatibility, public civilization and children’s education were branded unsatisfactory.
