Prince Kung's Palace Museum
As a community museum based on the relics of Qing Dynasty official He Shen's house, Prince Kung's Palace Museum is mainly responsible for the protection, development and utilization of relics and collections. It was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1982, and rated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction in 2012 and a national first-class museum in 2017.
The specific responsibilities of Prince Kung's Palace Museum include protection of the site of Prince Kung's Palace; collection, research and display of cultural relics, literature and the cultural artwork of Qing Dynasty; research on the historical and traditional culture of the Qing Dynasty; cultural cooperation at home and abroad; display of intangible cultural heritage; performance and exchange activities related to He Shen's mansion; museum public education and cultural communication; tourism opening and supporting construction of the Prince Kung's Palace Museum scenic area and the development of cultural and creative industries.
