Sichuan, an open and diverse province in Southwest China, is home to the giant panda. A widely recognized symbol of Sichuan, the adorable panda is also beloved around the world. Giant pandas are the core brand of Sichuan's culture and tourism. The Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan Province, in cooperation with CRI Online, has launched an English-language feature titled "Sichuan, More Than Pandas" to let overseas audiences online understand and feel the charm of Sichuan's culture and tourism, and unlock the natural and cultural "code" of "Beautiful Sichuan, Home of Pandas".

The English feature aims to give overseas audiences a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture and the Ba-Shu culture, and to showcase the charm of the giant panda habitat in terms of humanity, nature, ethnic customs, ecology, cuisine and cultural creations. This feature provides a multilingual section, presenting the characteristics of Sichuan's culture and tourism in multiple languages such as Japanese, Russian, German and French in the form of promotional videos, vlogs, photos and text.
