The Carnival Cruise Line recently announced it will resume operating eight cruise lines from Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston in the US on August 1. But its cruise operations in other areas in North America and Australia will remain suspended until the end of August.

The company welcomed tourists to book their service. It said proper ships and homeports have been especially chosen for passengers’ convenience, so that they can drive to the homeport and enjoy a cruise voyage under strict public hygiene measures.

In addition, the company will continue to work with experts, government officials and governing board to protect their customers and crew members.

The Carnival Cruise Line is reportedly the largest cruise company in the world. Its operating income in 2019 was $20.83 billion, with a net profit of $2.99 billion.

The Grand Princess and Diamond Princess, which attracted wide media reports due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all belong to the company.

According to other reports, the US Congress has started investigating the company’s measures toward the novel coronavirus and has asked it to hand over its internal company information and communication records about the epidemic outbreak.
