A talk show, in which experts and celebrities discuss how the Spring Festival was celebrated in the Forbidden City, will be aired on Jan 1, 2020.

The five-episode talk show features topics ranging from the emperor's New Year reception to family gatherings, royal rituals, imperial gifts and entertainment activities during the Spring Festival, according to a statement by the Palace Museum.

The program is a co-production between the Palace Museum and Tencent.
