Internet giant Tencent recently released its streaming site subscription figures of the end of September. And the numbers are impressive.

As of the end of the third quarter, Tencent Video had 82 million subscriptions, up 79 percent year on year and 10 percent quarter on quarter.

The rise was mainly propelled by hit dramas -- Legend of Fuyao, Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace and Sand Sea, and the animated series Land of Warriors.
