With the theme of "China beyond imagination," Chinese tourism and cultural resources are being presented in the 30th Montreal International Tourism and Travel Show starting Saturday.
The three-day show, the largest tourism exhibition in Canada, brought together more than 400 exhibitors from nearly 100 countries and regions.
The Chinese delegation, gathering members from the tourism development commission or bureaux of various local provinces, is among the largest participating teams in the show.
Bright and colorful pictures depicting Chinese landscapes and local culture as well as handcrafts like paper-cutting and clay sculpture are displayed to attract Canadian tourists.
In recent years, with closer exchanges between China and Canada in the fields of economy, trade and culture, tourism has become a new highlight of cooperation between the countries.
The year of 2018 is China-Canada Year of Tourism. The two countries have carried out a series of colorful publicity activities in each other's cities to enhance the popularity of destinations and further boost two-way tourism exchanges.
