The French city Bordeaux is known for being home to some of the world's top grape wines, but the city has recently grabbed attention of Chinese netizens for a different reason.
Recently a group of Chinese students performed on the streets of the city to sing a dozen of songs to celebrate China's National Day holiday.
Their performance not only received applause from onlookers, but also attracted passers by to join in.
A video of the street "chorus" was later uploaded it online, and it quickly went viral.
The two passers by were identified as Wu Haochen and Dai Yunfan, both pop idols, who had just concluded their filming for the day for the TV series The Crocodile and The Pluvian in the city.
In the series, a Chinese young woman leaves her family in a small town to study architecture in France, where she meets an arrogant senior student.
The TV drama crew plan to be in Bordeaux for two months, making it the longest span and largest scale for a Chinese crew ever staying in the French city.
Alain Juppé, mayor of Bordeaux, recently arranged a reception at the city hall to welcome the Chinese crew
