The just-concluded exhibition, China Week: Creative Chengdu, showed the innovative side of China's culture industry at the art center of Seoul Hongik University.
The event, running from May 29 to June 1, was among a series of cultural activities under the China Week: Inheritance and Innovation project to showcase the creative development of China's cultural sector, as well as to promote cultural exchanges between China and South Korea.
Qiu Guohong, Chinese ambassador to South Korea, said at the exhibition's opening on May 29 that the cultural creative industry has become more integrated with people's lives, which also helps drive a country's development.
"Exhibition China Week: Creative Chengdu introduces contemporary Chinese culture to South Korean people while appreciating South Korea's creative cultures, which will further enhance cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between China and South Korea," Qiu said.
