The Maritime Silk Road EXPO 2018 and the Straits Textile Clothing Fair are currently being held in Shishi, Southeast China’s Fujian province.

The theme of the expo is “New Silk Road, New Cooperation, New Fusion,” and it is expected to see 15,000 buyers from more than 40 countries.

The expo is showcasing hundreds of local products such as tea, porcelain, fragrances and traditional craftsmanship products.

Separately, the Textile Clothing Fair is in its 19th year and showcases products from the fashion industry, ranging from fabrics and material to sewing machines.

A mini fashion week, including 15 runway shows, will feature local collections, and a competition will be held for young designers from across China.

At the final gala on April 20, 10 top local designers and design studios will be honored.
