35 foreign students from Laos, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Tanzania are studying at Hebei Wuqiao Acrobatic Art School.
After the one-year program, they will graduate and return to their home countries in August.
Wuqiao is considered to be the birthplace of Chinese acrobatics. Founded in 1985, Hebei Wuqiao Acrobatic Art School has not just trained Chinese acrobats but also more than 400 foreign students from developing countries as part of a cultural exchange program, which was launched by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Commerce in 2002.
