The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and Beijing-based industry analyst Ze Media have just put a list of the most influential Chinese TV stations.
On the TV news front, the toppers were the provinces of Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Liaoning, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Guizhou, and Gansu, and Shanghai. In the internet broadcast field, the winners were Hunan, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangdong, Liaoning, Hebei, Zhejiang, Shandong, Beijing and Hubei.
As for city-level TV stations, the toppers among 10 award-winners were Nanjing in Jiangsu province; Anqing in Anhui province and Nanchang in Jiangxi province.
According to Tao Shiming, the deputy director of the China Alliance of Radio, Film, and Television, 2017 showed that Chinese TV and radio industry has greatly advanced in big data applications, mobile devices, and multiple broadcast platforms.
Earlier this month, the China Alliance of Radio, Film, and Television, also approved plans to establish a branch committee focusing on big-data analysis.
