Xi'an's university gaining fame at international exhibition

Northwestern Polytechnic University in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, displayed its joint research achievements with the University of Kent at the China-UK Science and Innovation Forum and Achievements Exhibition held at the Royal Society in London on Dec 6.

The exhibition is an important part of the Fifth Annual of China-UK High-level People-to-people Dialogue, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Business, Energy, Industrial Strategy of UK and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

The Duke of York Prince Andrew and other high-ranking representatives from the governments of China and foreign countries, scientific research institutions, and business circles attended the forum and exhibition.

The achievement of "Multi-mode Brain-computer Integrated Control Technique", by professor Xie Songyun from the School of Electronics and Information, NPU, and professor Steven Gao from University of Kent successfully drew the attention of both Chinese and foreign guests.

Xie gave a detailed presentation about its innovation as well as its development and application prospects of the technology.
