Tencent Video, one of China's major online video platforms, has taken its original programs to International Market of Communications Programmes, the world's largest digital content trade fair in Cannes, France, which opened on Oct 16.
The internet colossus took to the fair 12 dramas, covering romance, sci-fi and adventure among others, such as the adventure series, Candle in the Tomb: The Weasel Grave.
The other productions in the repertoire included Sand Puzzle, adapted from a popular novel by Nanpaishanshu, an author with huge number of fans among Chinese netizens, and Rule the World, a novel-adapted production in the history genre.
