Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region rolled out favorable tourism deals at a tourism road show in Beijing on June 14.
Incentive worth 10 million yuan ($1.47 million) was unveiled at the event to encourage travel agencies to bring visitors from Beijing.
Launch of chartered flights and special tourism train connecting Ningxia and Beijing will all be included in the incentive package.
Ningxia and Beijing offers very different tourism resources, and tourism cooperation between the two parties will play a positive role in tourism development, says Li Weining, deputy director of Ningxia tourism commission.
Ningxia is one of the birthplaces of China's Yellow River civilization and offers towering mountains, Gobi Desert, the Great Wall, lakes and prairies.
