The traditional friendship between China and Islamic countries has a long history. Since 2,500 years ago, China and the Islamic world had exchanged both of material and spiritual assets through the ancient Silk Road, and resulted in the integration of Islamic culture with unique Chinese characteristics. In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the strategic concept of "One Belt and One Road" , which also satisfies the common needs of countries along the line, particularly for Muslim countries. It created a new opportunity for China and these countries to cooperate and share advantages in economic development.

Merging all the rivers, it becomes the ocean. Collecting everyone's advantages, it should be a strategic foresight. The photo exhibition well presents the local tradition, life styles and customs, characteristic buildings and beautiful landscapes of countries along the "One Belt and One Road", especially in Muslim countries. Also, the exhibition perfectly presents the closed and solid relationship between these countries and China. [Photos provided to Chinaculture.org]
